HISTORY & HERITAGE TOUR

From the top of West Virginia to the deep caves underground, our history is rich. Not only was West Virginia the only state to be born out of the Civil War, but our heritage extends far into our mountain roots with a blend of cultures that is truly Appalachian. Travel our roads discovering our past from Civil War battlefields to 1800s affluence to preserved coal mining towns. You’ll soon see why West Virginia’s robust heritage is one that we take pride in and enjoy sharing with others.
